But hurry, because polls close today, April 26, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

Voting is easy, just sign in with Facebook, Twitter, or Google, or create a Webby account with an email address. You can learn more by following @TheWebbyAwards.

Winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 1st.

Here are the 5 NG finalists:
Websites:
Best Green Site – National Geographic Environment
Best Youth Site – NG Kids
Best Magazine – National Geographic Magazine Online

Mobile & Apps:
Best Education – 50 Greatest Photos of National Geographic
News (Tablet & All Other Devices) – National Geographic Magazine

Personally, I think one of the best things about voting in the Webbys is discovering some great sites from different genres than I often peruse. Some of my favorites this year have included this Harry-met-Sally update (with Billy Crystal and Helen Mirren!) on Funny Or Die, this Facebook parody, this amazing music project, and this cool way to display a portfolio.

There are several other gems to discover. Just don’t forget to vote for the NG family!
